The Color Brown
My sewing room (which moonlights as my bedroom) has been overrun by projects of the brown persuasion. Without so much as a by your leave, many many yards of the following have taken up residence and are in various states of use: brown cotton velvet, chocolate/gold metallic organza, espresso dupioni, dark mocha-colored faux suede, matching dark mocha-colored cotton twill, and brown shaved faux mink.
I’m starting to feel like I’m in one of those Dove chocolate commercials where everything goes from being normal to being covered with chocolate-colored curtains. That and I have sudden urges late at night to track down some Godiva. But then again, I consider that last one perfectly normal.
